In Environmental Biology, Vannessa Holland and Marty Flesher completed a service-learning project to benefit their community. They collected baby supplies at the Westergard Real Estate office located in KF and donated them to the N.E.W. Family Life Service located in Colville. Last year this program served 176 women/families through the crisis pregnancy center (174 Mothers, 2 Single Fathers and 235 children). Their help consisted of giving away over 7000 diapers, 300 coats, 400 blankets, 200 pairs of shoes and 5000 articles of clothing.
